Three men in the United Kingdom have been arrested for murdering a teenage boy because they wanted his teenage girlfriend.
According to the police, George Thomson, 19, Brahnn Finley, 19, and Daniel Johnston, 20, were arrested for the murder of Jordan Watson, 14, just because they wanted his 14-year-old girlfriend.
The crime was uncovered after officers were called to a cemetery on Manor Road, by a member of the public who had found a male body.
The body was later identified as Jordan Watson and a pathologist determined that the cause of death was multiple wounds to the head and neck caused by a sharp instrument.
The men connected with the crime were arrested, questioned and tried.
A court heard that the boy suffered a savage and brutal attack after being lured to the cemetery by Thomson, motivated by jealousy over Watson’s 14-year-old girlfriend with whom Thomson was attempting to have a relationship.
It was further revealed that Thomson had an obsession with Watson’s 14-year-old girlfriend and would stop at nothing to have her for himself.
The court found George Thomson and Brahnn Finley guilty of murder and sentenced them to 27 and 14 years in prison respectively.
Daniel Johnston was found guilty of manslaughter and sentenced to serve 10 years in prison.
