The three friends sat down for Japanese fare
during a dinner that lasted nearly two hours, the insider tells
Us. The trio noshed on a casual dinner of miso soup and sushi
rolls, according to an onlooker. After the meal was over, Bieber cleared out
first. Then Baldwin—the daughter of Stephen Baldwin and niece
of NYC staple Alec Baldwin -- left with Jenner shortly
after.
Bieber's dinner with Jenner is an
interesting move to say the least: His on-and-off-again love Selena Gomez wasentangled in a feud recently with Kendall
and her younger sister Kylie Jenner. After hanging out with the reality
stars at Coachella, Gomez, 21, abruptly unfollowed everyone—including Kendall,
18, Kylie, 16, and Bieber, 20—on Instagram for unconfirmed reasons. (In
response, Bieber has since unfollowed Gomez on Instagram, but still remains
friends with both Jenner sisters.)
A source tells US Weekly in the May
12 issue that things "got messy" between the young stars. "Selena said the
Jenner girls were flirting with Justin and his crew. She was pissed and
overrated," one Bieber insider said. Another pal added, "They had an issue but
they have cleared it up," further explaining to Us, "[Selena]
has always liked the Jenner girls. They had been fans of Selena since they were
young."
Despite his own share of drama, Bieber has
been reveling in positivity since traveling to Manhattan last weekend. "Feeling
happy and creative," the pop sensation wrote Monday. "A lot of great things coming." He later
followed up and tweeted, "Some will hate…more will want to love. Letting the
love in. Ignoring the hate. Keep it positive!"
Fans have certainly rushed to express their
love for the "Boyfriend" crooner, too. Bieber shared photos Tuesday of himself,
poking his head out the sunroof of a car, greeting screaming fans on the streets
of NYC. "Love NYC," he said via Instagram, "love #mybeliebers."
