According to tribune, the guard had been employed by the retired senior magistrate less than two months ago, but was soon relieved of his job for allegedly stealing jewellery, electronics and mobile phones.
The suspect’s mission to the premises of the Timeyins, it was gathered, was to demand money after he regained freedom from police custody.
He reportedly gained entry into the premises at about 3.30 p.m. by scaling the fence, deactivated all security systems and then hid himself in a corner of the house.
The unsuspecting retired magistrate, who had returned from a social outing and parked her blue Toyota Camry car with registration number: LAGOS KJA 141 BU, was said to be settling in the house when her former employee pounced on her and slaughtered her.

Killer: David
As David was carrying out the act, it was learnt that one of the deceased’s children, identified as Olumide, who was at the gate trying to gain entry, raised the alarm but David had killed his mother and fled into a nearby bush before people got to the scene.However, a member of a vigilance group, Oluseye Fasina, was said captured the fleeing suspect, who was promptly handed over to the police.
Eminent personalities, including the state Chief Judge, Justice Olatokunbo Olopade and the Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Chief Muyiwa Oladipo, were sighted at the scene.
As of the time of this report, the state Police Public Relations Officer, Muyiwa Adejobi, could not be reached for comments, but policemen from Kenta Division were at the scene.
